adopted, which apply on the <strong style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Srednja vas\u2013Uskovnica forest road <\/strong>and on the <strong style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Spodnji Goreljek\u2013Praprotnica\u2013<\/strong><strong style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rudno po<\/strong>l<strong style=\"font-weight: 400;\">je<\/strong> forest road during the period between <strong style=\"font-weight: 400;\">15 June and 15 October, prohibit motor vehicle traffic, with some exceptions. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Driving IS PERMITTED for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>the needs of forest management and wildlife management;<\/li>\n<li>cycling;<\/li>\n<li>owners, operators, or tenants of buildings and land;<\/li>\n<li>official travel for the performance of municipal law enforcement duties, as well as public forestry, cultural heritage preservation, nature conservation, health, emergency medical, and veterinary services, hunting and fishing patrol services, inspection supervision, defense, protection, and rescue operations, police duties, and the work of mountain and cave rescuers and firefighters, tasks involving direct supervision in the field and during the work of investigating judges and public prosecutors, performing agricultural work, performing beekeeping work, performing surveying work, performing geological work, performing scientific research work, discovering and exploring underground caves, the management of watercourses and torrential areas, the maintenance and construction of structures, protection, rescue, and assistance during natural and other disasters, and the performance of tasks by the Slovenian Armed Forces; <\/li>\n<li>for holders of the \u201cOb\u010dan\u201d parking card and for organized transportation provided by the Municipality of Bohinj and Turizem Bohinj.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/promet.bohinj.si\/en\/organised-transport\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Organised transport services for the 2026 season:<\/a> <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-size: 16px; Rudno Polje to Uskovnica is closed. It lies at an elevation between 1,000 and 1,500 meters. Unspoiled nature and vast spruce forests are the hallmarks of Pokljuka.  <\/div>\n<div> <\/div>\n<div>Pokljuka also features special conservation areas and species that are protected under European directives and form part of the Natura 2000 network. The most important of these are the marshlands and the habitat of the capercaillie. <\/div>\n<div> <\/div>\n<div>The purpose of the Natura 2000 network is to preserve natural values of international importance that our ancestors managed to preserve through a healthy and respectful relationship with nature.<\/div>\n<div> <\/div>\n<div>With these measures, we will contribute to the comprehensive management of traffic in Pokljuka, which is, among other things, an important objective of the VrH Julijcev project. <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-97a34a4\" class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>On the plateau, we want to preserve a suitable habitat for sensitive animal and plant species and vulnerable ecosystems.<\/p>\n<p>Regulating motor vehicle traffic is also important for the smooth management of the forest, while at the same time allowing visitors to enjoy a high-quality, nature-friendly leisure experience in the country\u2019s only national park.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Parking along the forest roads between Rudno Polje, Za Ribnico,<br \/>and Razpotje is not permitted (except for landowners).<\/li>\n<li>Parking is permitted in the parking lot at Rudno Polje and at Lom, in front of Uskovnica.<\/li>\n<li>Motor vehicles are not permitted to drive across the Praprotnica (past<br \/>energy points) and Uskovnica
