As of September 1, the following organized transport lines in Bohinj will no longer be operating:
- Line 3: Lake Bohinj, Ukanc via Nomenj
- Line 5: Vogar-Blato intersection via Srednja vas (Senožeta)
- Line 7: Soriška planina (transport on request)
- Line 8: Uskovnica (transport on demand)
Lines 1 and 2 from Bohinjska Bistrica to Lake Bohinj and Ukanc run only on Saturdays and Sundays until 9 p.m. 9. 2025.
Two lines are still in operation on a daily basis:
- Line 4: Vogar-Blato intersection via Bohinjska Bistrica (until September 28, 2025)
- Line 6: Pokljuka (until September 14, 2025)
Arriva’s summer public transport lines from Bohinjska Bistrica to Savica Waterfall and Soriška Planina are also no longer operating.
In the second half of August, three ticket machines were installed in Boh. Bistrica at the railway station and in Danica, and at the Bohinjsko jezero station, so that Bohinj 24h tickets can also be purchased at these locations. The tickets are valid until 31. 12. 2025.
We recommend that guests staying for an extended period purchase the Julian Alps Card: Bohinj, which allows free travel on both organized transport and Arriva buses in Bohinj.
