Prices

With the purpose of traffic calming at the most critical areas of Bohinj, by minimising traffic in the Triglav National Park area, especially along the lake basin, we are gradually terminating parking spaces directly on the Lake Bohinj shore by introducing better and alternative parking options. This is also the reason for increasing the parking prices directly on the shore of Lake Bohinj. You can use other car parks with lower parking fees, which also enable free transport to lake shore and back.

PARK AND RIDE CAR PARKS

We promote sustainable mobility in Bohinj by offering park and ride options in the summer season. This also involves free transport. We offer four P + R car parks, where you can park your vehicles and use free transport on the following routes:

  • Srednja vas – Vorančkojca (P8) Stara Fužina car park – Voje,Vogar crossroad – crossroad Vogar, Blato and back
  • Ribčev Laz – Bohinjsko jezero – Ribčev Laz
  • Bohinjska Bistrica – Bohinjsko jezero – Bohinjska Bistrica
  • Ribčev Laz – Ukanc – Ribčev Laz

The Decree on public order and peace in the area of Bohinj Municipality prohibits overnight stays in or on haylofts, hayracks, parks, bus and railway stations, multi-dwelling premises of facilities that are not intended for such purposes, at the market place and other inappropriate places.

E-CHARGING STATIONS

For many years, we have used gasoline, a mixture of light hydrocarbons and admixtures, which will soon have to be completely replaced with environmentally friendly renewable energy. We cannot foresee what development will bring, but we can already use the possibilities that are available to us.

There are more and more e-cars on our roads every day. If you come to Bohinj with an e-driven vehicle, you can use 4 free public e-charging stations.

VOJE ROAD – VOGAR – BLATO PASTURE

  • Road use: €12/day
  • The fee IS NOT included among the benefits provided by the Julian Alps: Bohinj Card.

The forest road takes you to the Voje pasture, Vogar or Blato pasture, which are all excellent starting points for hiking.

The road has a gate and a fee has to be paid for its use in the amount of €12/day (from 1 January to 31 December, 24 hours a day). You can pay the fee by inserting the road ticket in the parking meter. You can pay in cash, with a bank card (Maestro, Mastercard, and Visa) or by mobile phone (mobile bank).

Free transport

Instead of using a car you can get to Voje, Vogar or Blato pastures from 22 June to 15 September by free shuttles. Free transport is possible from Senožeta (P14) car park in Srednja vas, which is only 4 km away from Lake Bohinj.
