Parking is free with the purchase of a Julian Alps: Bohinj parking card.

Payment with the Julian Alps Bohinj Card is accepted at all parking lots in the municipality of Bohinj equipped with parking meters bearing the Bohinj Municipality logo.

The card can be purchased by guests staying at Turizem Bohinj partner accommodations who are staying in Bohinj for at least two nights:

• 3, 5 or 10-day cards are available
• The summer edition of the card is available from 1 April to 15 November
• The winter version of the card is available starting from the 16 November until 31 March

Where can I buy the Julian Alps: Bohinj card?

The card is available at all tourist information centres and with some accommodation providers. Ask your host.

Conditions for using the card

• The Julian Alps Bohinj parking card is non-transferable and valid only for the person whose name and surname appear on the card and only for the vehicle with the registration number indicated on the card.
• The card is valid from the first day of validity until midnight on the third, fifth or tenth day (depending on the type of card).
• The free and discounted services offered by the card can be used according to the provider's opening hours and capacity availability. You can only redeem the free service or discount if you present your card before taking up the benefit.

• Parking lots without barriers: the user inserts the card into the slot of the reader and waits for the parking machine to issue a ticket The issued parking ticket must be placed in a visible position on the dashboard of the vehicle. The parking ticket allows you to park in the car park where it was purchased. If you park in other car parks on the same day, you must always repeat the procedure when you park. There is no time limit for parking (except in the Blue Zone).
• Car parks with gates: at the entry and exit terminal, insert the card into the marked slot of the reader and the gate will open automatically. There is no time limit for parking.
• In the case of non-functioning (raised) gates, the procedure is the same as in car parks without gates, a parking ticket must be obtained from the parking meter and placed in a visible position on the dashboard of the vehicle.

What if I lose or accidentally destroy my card?

In case of loss or damage of the Julian Alps: Bohinj Card, please inform the host, the card sales point or Turizem Bohinj as soon as possible at +386 (0) 45 74 75 90. In this case, the guest is entitled to a new card with the same validity conditions.
