MAY DAY HOLIDAY TRANSPORT
- During the May Day holidays (25 April – 3 May 2026), transport will be organized on the route Bohinjska Bistrica – Lake Bohinj – Stara Fužina – Savica Waterfall and back.
To use the service, you must have either the Julian Alps: Bohinj Card, a Bohinjc ticket, or a Bohinj 24h ticket. Please note that the Bohinj 24h ticket cannot be purchased on the bus.

VOJE-VOGAR ROAD
- From Saturday, 25. 4. 2026, the forest road Voje – Vogar – Blato will be open.
VOGEL CABLE CAR

- We would like to inform passengers that, due to maintenance work on the line, trains 853, 854, 857, and 858 will be affected from May 4 through May 8 and from May 11 through May 15, operating on a shortened route between Bohinjska Bistrica and Podbrdo and back.
- Due to construction work on the Jesenice–Bled Jezero line, substitute transportation will be provided for the trains mentioned above starting April 29, according to an adjusted schedule. These buses cannot carry wheelchair users. Bicycles and animals are also not permitted on board. Exceptions include guide dogs, service dogs, and police dogs. Alternative services may be subject to delays, so please take this into account when planning your journey.
- From 30. 9. The Jesenice railway junction and station are undergoing renovation in 2025. During this time, occasional train delays are possible due to slow driving past the construction site or the closure of individual tracks. More information about the project and the scope of work can be found at www.krajsamorazdalje.si. The Slovenian Infrastructure Agency is responsible for the construction, renovation, and maintenance of public railway infrastructure.

Conditions in the mountains remain demanding, most mountain huts are still closed, and hiring a mountain guide is strongly recommended.
PARKING AND TRAFFIC REGIME IN BOHINJ
- Parking is only allowed in designated parking spaces!
- Parking is not allowed everywhere else, including on regional roads, and is sanctioned by the traffic police (Inter-municipal Inspectorate and Traffic Wards of the municipalities of Bled, Bohinj and Železniki).
