Please note that construction work on the new Bohinj – Bled cycle path is still ongoing and the route is still a construction site. Staying in the area of the construction site and machinery is strictly forbidden and, above all, dangerous.
The cycle path is still subject to a technical inspection and the issue of a certificate of use, which is a prerequisite for its opening. Until then, driving is prohibited.
We urge you to stay off the route of the new cycle path and to refrain from directing guests and visitors to it. For the time being, cyclists are obliged to use the national road on this route. Once construction is complete, they will be diverted to the new cycling route.

The construction of the cycling link between Bohinjska Bistrica and Bled started in autumn 2022 and is expected to be completed by 2025. The investment is worth around €18 million.
