During the summer, the Bohinj Bicycle Trail—which is actually a multi-purpose trail—is very popular and serves as an important space for recreation, mobility, and access to farmland. The trail is used by cyclists, pedestrians, families with children, inline skaters, and farmers with agricultural machinery.
Due to the increased number and diversity of users, we urge all visitors to act responsibly, adjust their speed accordingly, and show mutual respect. Pay special attention to the most vulnerable users, especially children, older adults, and pedestrians.
Please:
- adjust your speed to the conditions on the trail,
- overtake only when it is safe to do so,
- be mindful of farm machinery and other work vehicles,
- respect all road users regardless of how they are using the road.
Only through tolerance, caution, and mutual understanding can we ensure safe and pleasant travel for everyone and get through this summer season without accidents.
Thank you for your understanding and responsible behavior.
