FREE BUS SERVICES FOR THE BOHINJSKA NOČ EVENT
On Saturday, 8 August 2026, the Bohinjska noč event will take place in Ribčev Laz. Free bus services will be available to make travelling to and from the event safer and easier for visitors. Find out more about the event here:

Summer organised transport services will be free after 5:00 pm
The summer organised transport services that operate into the evening according to the valid timetables will be free of charge from 5:00 pm onwards on the day of the event. Travel towards Ribčev Laz from Nomenj, Bohinjska Bistrica and Pokljuka will be free on the following lines:
- line 1,
- line 2,
- line 4,
- line 6.

Additional free bus services for visitors to Bohinjska noč
In addition to the regular summer organised transport services, the Bohinj Tourist Association will provide additional free bus services for the event. These services are not part of the regular summer lines but are being organised specifically for travel to and from Bohinjska noč. They may, of course, also be used by other passengers.

TIMETABLE CHANGE FOR LINE 4:
On Friday 24. 7. 2026 the timetable for line 4, the organised transfer service between Bohinjska Bistrica and the Vogar–Blato crossroad, has changed. The first bus will depart from Bohinjska Bistrica railway station at 7:00 am instead of 7:10 am, and the second at 9:10 am instead of 9:12 am. The first return service from the Vogar–Blato crossroad will also depart earlier, at 7:45 am instead of 7:55 am.
The new schedules are posted at bus stops and published on the
TRANSPORTATION subpage, where you can also check all other schedules and purchase tickets. The printed versions of the flyers still show the old schedule, so we have prepared additional flyers with the new times, which you can pick up at Bohinj Tourism or print from the website.
SCHEDULED PUBLIC TRANSPORT
In addition to the organised transport services, public bus routes (Arriva) are also available in Bohinj. New this year are additional public bus routes on the Bled–Bohinj–Bled route from 25. 6. to 31 8. A bus from Bohinjska Bistrica to the Savica Waterfall will run daily from 26. 6. to 31. 8., while a bus from Škofja Loka via the Soriška Planina to Ukanc will run on weekends and holidays from 25. 6. to 31 8.
