On Sunday, 20 September 2026, the 67th Traditional Kravji bal will take place in Ukanc. Due to increased traffic, visitors are advised to use the free bus services or park at one of the free car parks outside Ukanc and continue their journey by bus.
Free bus services
Special free bus services to and from Ukanc will operate on the day of the event. Visitors can also use the Bohinj 24h organised transport services free of charge to travel to Ukanc on the day of the event.
1A – Lower Bohinj Valley
- Bohinjska Bistrica – Lake Bohinj – Ukanc – Lake Bohinj – Bohinjska Bistrica
- 8:30–19:00, approximately every 20 minutes
2A – Upper Bohinj Valley
- Jereka – Stara Fužina – Ukanc – Stara Fužina – Jereka
- first departure at 9:00, followed by services approximately every 30 minutes between 10:00 and 19:00
3A – Nomenj
- Nomenj – Lake Bohinj – Ukanc – Lake Bohinj – Bohinjska Bistrica
- 8:00–19:00, approximately every 60 minutes
Free parking
On the day of Kravji bal, parking will be free at the following car parks:
- Kobla
- Danica
- Kristal
- Labora
- Nomenj
We particularly recommend the Danica and Kobla car parks, from where visitors can continue to the event by free bus. Park for free and take a free bus to Kravji bal.
Take the panoramic boat to Kravji bal
You can also travel to Ukanc by panoramic boat across Lake Bohinj. A special package will be available, including a one-way or return boat trip and admission to Kravji bal. The adult package price is €12 for a one-way trip and €17 for a return trip. More information about the package and ticket purchase will be published shortly.
