Campsites and motorhome car parks
In the whole of the Julian Alps, and especially in the Triglav National Park, overnight stays, camping and resting with caravans are only allowed in designated places: campsites and caravan parks. Advance booking is strongly recommended before arrival, especially during the peak season. Campsites
There are three campsites in Bohinj, together with the Soriška planina, which offer a beautiful backdrop for your views from the windows of the caravans or through the wings of the tents, with all the necessary amenities for your comfort.
Danica Campsite

Camp Danica is just a few hundred metres from the centre of Bohinjska Bistrica, along the Sava Bohinjka River. All areas are leveled and grassed. It has a total area of 4.5 hectares and can accommodate around 850 guests. Pets are welcome in the modern, Ecocamping-certified campsite, which is also certified as a “bike-friendly campsite”, and the whole area is disabled-friendly.

Camp Bohinj is located in Ukanc on the shores of Lake Bohinj. Being in the Triglav National Park, it offers everything you need for a pleasant and peaceful stay in harmony with nature and for numerous activities.
The campsite is approximately 5 hectares in size and is divided into three areas. Pets are welcome at the campsite.

There is no possibility to empty the chemical toilets at the campsite.
Parking and accommodation for motorhomes
Parking is only allowed in designated parking areas. Overnight stays are only allowed in campsites and overnight caravan and motorhome parks.
Bohinjska Bistrica Railway Station
The fenced, secure parking area offers 30 parking spaces for caravans. It is equipped with electricity connections, a wastewater and faecal disposal station in front of the car park and access to drinking water. There is a reception outside the entrance (information, souvenirs, refreshments and bike rental).

Senožeta – Srednja vas
(Sports Centre)
The caravan park is located below the Senožeta ski slope in Srednja Vas. It offers 16 fully serviced caravan parking spaces. They are equipped with electrical connections, a wastewater and faeces disposal station in front of the car park, and access to drinking water. Temporary parking is allowed for up to 24 hours.

Kobla - Bohinjska Bistrica
The caravan park is located below the Kozji Hrbet ski slope in Bohinjska Bistrica. It offers temporary parking during the peak summer season when other caravan sites are full. Temporary parking is allowed for up to 12 hours.
There is a waste water discharge station in the car park.
